Wendy Jans of Belgium and Anita Rizzuti of Norway will reach new milestones in their snooker careers when they take their places in the qualifiers for snooker’s new World Open.
Jans and Rizzuti will play in Sheffield in qualifiers over the coming weekend; the innovative format of the new event gives juniors, women and international amateurs a shot against 96 pros.
Both women will need to win at least two matches to reach the main event, which will take place in September at the SECC in Glasgow. The full story is running here on the World Snooker website.
