The Independent on Sunday have pulled off something of a coup by signing (or rather retaining) the ever-colourful Ian Holloway as a columnist for their sports pages during Blackpool’s debut Premier League season.
Today’s offering is typically open, and entertaining, and includes Holloway’s views on and support for his under-fire boss, Karl Oyston; his opinion on the “scary” level of media coverage in the Premier League and how he thinks he looks a “miserable pig” on TV; why Arsenal’s football (6-0 yesterday) is “an education”; and a funny tale about his fear of his son’s pet snake.
Holloway’s column today in full is linked here. Recommended.
