The BBC have published the results of an extensive survey into what it costs to watch football in England and Scotland, and concluded that Blackburn Rovers offer the cheapest day out in the Premier League (£17.50 for a ticket, programme, pie and cup of tea) while Liverpool are the most expensive club to watch (£46.95 for the same items).
The BBC researched the price of the cheapest and most expensive tickets at all 92 league clubs in England’s four professional divisions plus the 12 clubs of the SPL, as well as the prices of a programme, pie and cuppa at each ground. The full results are linked below – and are fascinating.
As this website reported in January, Arsenal have become the first club in the PL to sell the first ‘ordinary’ (non-corporate) £100 ticket.
